Very cozy and delicious cake

Very cute café with lovingly designed cakes and delicious coffee. Referring to the last review, I have to state that our pieces were bigger than you get in most other cafes. Unfortunately there is no oat milk, only soy milk. That could be improved, but otherwise I was very satisfied, especially because the hospitality was so friendly and the atmosphere was so cozy.

What to say Catastrophe. Croissants good. But despite registering in a cafe, there was no jam. Reason: it is not a matter of course that there is jam, because it is homemade. Well, what do you say? Nutella in a shot glass, served, not experienced either. Overall selection super limited. And the cheesecake ... oh. Good to drink with coffee, but no thanks for breakfast.

It's a shame the cakes are very good, but the pieces are clearly too small!

Very nice with nice terrace and good cake

The word brunch is absolutely misleading here. Usually brunch means that breakfast and lunch are combined. However, you won't find any warm dishes here. There is a single small table with food. Brunch standards such as sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, sliced ​​cheese, dessert / muesli / cornflakes variations, honey etc. were not offered. And there was no variation whatsoever from what was offered. Two types of sausage, two semi-hard cheeses, one jam, just to name a few. There were also only mini rolls, pretzels and croissants, which of course were only baked and weren't even refilled towards the end. The only thing that can be positively emphasized is that there was water and orange juice for free, the chocolate cake and the friendly service. Finally I have to say that the pictures that are shown from the brunch on the homepage / Internet, which suggest things like sausage salad and many different dishes, are a joke. And for what is on offer, the price of 15 € per person (without hot drink) is absolutely usurious and not justified. We will not be back, even if the ambience is quite nice.

The small café "Bergäcker" in Freiburg's Littenweiler district is a gem that is rarely found today. In addition to a cozy atmosphere convinced especially the homemade cake. Even with large groups, the staff is not overwhelmed, but masters all tasks confidently and always friendly and courteous. Prices not cheap, but the quality more than adequate. Perhaps the best café in Littenweiler, maybe even in the whole of Freiburg.

Nice little café near Freiburg Teacher College in Littenweiler. They offer a la carte breakfast, cakes, coffee and tea variations plus some small daily lunch. We had an extended breakfast there, which was pretty good. The service was overmatched at times, but still acceptable. For breakfast (pictured) + coffee flatrate I paid € 10. First Sunday every month they offer brunch upon pre-reservation.
